VidEpinions Presents VideOpinions of Cool Spring and Hot Summer Wear

VidEpinions Presents VideOpinions of Cool Spring and Hot Summer Wear

It is time to take a look at and update your Spring wardrobe. Think about enjoying the great outdoors with the right clothes. All you can do is get fashion forward with the right gear and wear. For this Spring, if you are shopping for a woman, think about the bright colors and pastels to elevate her moods.

Many fashionistas have been talking about colors that are inspired by the water, the sea and nature. Think about turquoise, red, yellow, blue and orchid colors. These colors are always attractive.

From the Spring break crowd in Miami, Cancun, Puerta Vallarta and elsewhere, the peaches and yellows are really dominant colors right now. They can easily be paired with the pastels.

Other trends you may look out for are layering, chain-link straps and accents, no-iron shirts etc.

The Pursuit of the Perfect Waist as seen in Gone with the Wind Movie by New York Times

In the article, What The Wind Blew In" there is a picture from the movie, "Gone with The Wind." The article is a review about the treatment of women in the movies as seen by author Haskbell in the new book, "Gone with The Wind" Revisited.
"Haskell sees the intricate ways that “Gone With the Wind” (the book-and-film phenomenon) derived from the legacy of Southern aristocracy and changed it through the post-suffrage image of female independence. She says her own enthrallment began with teenage reading in Richmond, Va.: “Scarlett embodies the secret masculinization of the outwardly feminine, the uninhibited will to act of every tomboy adolescent, here justified by the rule-bending crisis of war.”

Ms Isabel Toledo Designed and Delivered Michelle Obama's French Silk, Swiss Wool Dress That Reminds of Spanish Influences

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo to Ms. Isabel Toledo for designing a great dress for Michelle for such a great occasion!

"Isabel Toledo, the Cuban-born designer of Mrs. Obama’s inaugural outfit, did not know positively until this morning if the new first lady would wear the lemongrass-yellow coat and matching dress she specially designed for her. “We’re all up here watching the T.V.,” said the designer in a telephone interview from her New York studio. “It’s great. We’re so happy.”

Ms. Toledo, who has been making clothes in New York for 25 years, said the coat and dress were made of Swiss wool lace, backed with netting for warmth and lined in French silk. “I wanted to pick a very optimistic color, that had sunshine,” she said. “I wanted her to feel charmed, and in that way would charm everybody.” Ms. Toledo sounded overwhelmed. “This is so wonderful,” she said.

About thirteen people in her studio worked on the outfit over the Christmas holidays. “Chinese ladies, Polish ladies, Spanish ladies—I have a picture of everyone working on her clothes,” Ms. Toledo, who is 48, said. She added, “We’re all grateful for this opportunity, and we don’t even have a PR person!”
