Man Sick and Hospitalized with E. Coli Sues The Grill at The Meat Market in Fresno Superior Court
E. Coli cases are going to court these days. An 80-year-old man from Fresno is ready to lose his long life over a bite of meat cooked by The Grill at The Meat Market. He is alleging that he got sick after eating tri-tip cooked at The Fresno Grill. So he filed his papers at the Fresno County Superior Corut. The Meat Market on West Alluvial Avenue has to respond to the lawsuit. Mr. Jorgensen and wife want the Meart Market Inc to pay for more than $150,000 in medical expenses. The Grill at the Meat Market manager said that he has been working with federal, state and county health investigators. He has also hired a food-safety expert to find out how the contamination occurred.
Will recent incidents of E. Coli reduce the purchase of meat for July 4th BBQ? It remains to be seen.
